Overview

Tales of Eld is light-RP focused FC located in Mateus, currently comprised by a mix of NPC roleplayers and OC's, nor do not shy away from either group.If you think on applying to the FC itself for RP purposes, we are relatively heavy on lore-character RPers both in FC itself (especially in text, less so in alts) as well as with our associates, and we are bending some canon here and there for the sake of the story. If that is not your cup of tea this might not be the right group for you for regular roleplay.However we want to make everyone feel welcome if they visit the bar, as long as you don't turn your nose up to how others have fun. We're all friends and nerds here, under same roof. Thus, Tale's Nest will always be available for any weary traveler who just wants to share their story.

General Storybeat

Tale's Nest, a song-bar hidden within the snowy streets and shadows of Empyreum, is one shrouded with rumors and mystery. Booze is always cheap, food available if asked, lodging... still workshopping that. The payment? A good story or two of your own, and discretion if you see things that should not be.Like a man long dead walking among the living, a pair of glowing eyes inside the vents, and the owner giving you a look. Not a nasty one. One of recognition.Tale's Nest seems to be bringing the legends of eld back, are you here to be one of them? Or aid with the effort? Or perhaps... you're just here for a good drink and a laugh.

Coyotes

Coyotes are a mercenary band, founded and led by Martha Roderick. They know Garlean tech like the back of their hands, and are always recruiting people who are more than willing to be a thorn at the Empires side.Currently, Coyotes have a hideout within Tale's Nest, as the owner and the Coyotes are working somewhat together towards a common goal.

DANIFFEN'S JOY
Co-owners favorite, you'll need more than a story to get a glass of this mellow and sweet liquor. Brewed from the waters of the Weeping Saint, Daniffen's Joy has notes of honey and herbs, and sports a mild yellow tone.KISS OF FARPLANE
Distilled in the house itself, Farplane is Tale's Nests personal drink. Light, sweet and just a little spicy with hints of mint and herbs, this liquor will keep you drinking just for the taste alone. Moderation required!

Whiskey

BLACKBELLY WHISKEY
Special request by their Coyote patrons, this strong whiskey is said to knock the unprepared under the table. Earning it's name from frightening dark color, Blackbelly Whiskey has sweet and spicy taste with hint of fruits.

Meads

FULLFLOWER MEAD
Aged honey liquor, often cited to have a pleasant floral taste. Recommended with a dash of mint!

Rum

RADZ-AT-HAN RESERVE
One of the more potent drinks on the menu, Radz-at-han Reserve is dark maroon colored, vanilla flavored drink.

Rules

OfEld, Tale's Nest and Tales of Eld all run with common sense rules, and shared understanding that tolerance is a social contract, not a moral standing.- We have zero tolerance policy for any kind of bullying, exclusion, ableism, sexism or lgbtq+ hatred out of character. In character, we'd appreciate a warning if your character is about to display this kind of behavior beforehand.- OfEld is primarily SFW RP when out in public. While our storylines can touch and dwell on darker subjects, we keep anything NSFW strictly in private writing.- Most kind of disagreements can be solved with a mature adult conversation, and if coolers heads cannot prevail, peacefully backing out is always an option.- As of now, we humbly request keeping any and all spoilers from Post-Endwalker onwards away from the Tale's Nest, and any / all spoilers away from the Discord.- Admittance to the discord server can be given upon inquiry!- Third party tools are not discussed, nor mandatory to enjoy the venue.- We allow non-RP'ers to join the FC as well, as long as they respect the FC-RP event days and what not!
